When five old friends reunite in a pub, everyone in the group starts talking about their tremendously busy lives, except for one person: Matteo. Looking for some peace and quiet, he flees to the bathroom, where he gets lost deep in his thoughts. Suddenly, he finds himself in a Maze.

A film about the pressure to perform in life, in a world where everything seems to be a competition.

Two years after having migrated from Uruguay to The Netherlands, Sofía returns to her hometown to visit her family, expecting to jump right into her old life again. The reality of what she encounters turns out to be very different, as Sofía realizes that things have changed. Is this place still her home, or did her home turn into a strange place?

With this film I want to explore a feeling that I think not only people who have migrated experience, but everyone that has in a way left their hometown or house from their childhood.

Daniel is a Cuban immigrant who has moved to Rotterdam. For him, the city is unpleasant and unfamiliar; his loneliness is compounded by his work in a warehouse. Lacking contacts and a social life, he gets his satisfaction from spying and taking pictures of people. His obsession with spying on his colleague Olivier causes an upheaval.

This film is a social realist drama about identity loss and uprooting when integrating into a new city and culture.
